Juice Works 3D innovation academy is a learn-to-innovate education center for kids and adults located in Harrisonburg, VA. Our mission is to make innovation skills learning learning accessible and to cultivate future-capable inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs.We do so through our unique combination of design-based innovation skills programming, industry trained supportive coaches, and our creative space - the Juice Box - that provides access to digital fabrication equipment such 3D printing, laser cutters, robots, mills and more. At Smart Biology we change how the world understands biology through our extraordinary, 3D animated, interactive biology "textbooks". Each of my responsibilities as a member of the founding team - including leading customer execution and visioning as part of the customer development team, to building a sales roadmap and process from the ground up - is tied to my passion to achieve our mission to help students truly - see, interact, and understand biology through this exciting new way of learning.

XR instructor, co-creator and metaverse pioneer with some of the brightest, creative, risk-takers, and prickly problem slayers in this unique interdisciplinary undergraduate, experiential, project-based course. Highlights:1. Develop and facilitate fundamental real-time creation skills-training across a broad base of enabling software (i.e. Unity, Blender, Vuforia, Polycam, Kuula, 8th Wall) and hardware (Oculus Quest, mobile, Insta360). 2. Plan, manage, and oversee mvp product design and development3. Manage a diverse range of students toward the design and development of a final culminating real-world XR solution project MVP

Led planning, design, fund-raising, development and launch of the Centers' first digital Computer-Integrated Manufacturing lab and program. Raised over $100k in community-funded grants to seed and sustain lab and program. Forged partnerships with over 20 area manufacturers and businesses. Initiated first partnership for student enrollment between Fishburne Military School and VCTC. Co-chaired joint WWRC-VCTC Manufacturing Technology Committee. Two-time Shenandoah Valley Technology Council Innovation in K-12 award nominee. Launched 5th grade fabrication technologies community outreach program called Juice Works. Obtained certification as Virginia Teacher Apprentice, Manufacturing Technician I (MT1) and PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design and PLTW Computer Integrated Manufacturing educator.

Designed, developed, and delivered project-based, experiential STEM learning to diverse groups of students in grades nine through twelve. Managed secondary aspects of program and STEM lab operations including planning, evaluation, and expenditures. Interfaced with business and industry to facilitate real-world connections for students.
