Joined the newly formed Transportation Team as a Technical Lead, overseeing all aspects of fulfillment including pack control equipment management, packaging configuration assignment, label generation, transportation network management, etc. Contributed to decomposing the Blue Apron monolithic application into gRPC microservices and successfully deployed the first gRPC microservice into production. Co-designed and implemented the first asynchronous service communication pipeline utilizing Protocol Buffers and Kafka. Collaborated closely with the DevOps team to enhance the stability and reliability of the service mesh used to route gRPC traffic.
