The typical Slovak pattern is that we try to catch up with what the West was 5 years ago and by the time we get there it is going to be 10+, that is why we need a vision for the economic development that will enable us to skip over a period that we have missed for good (THAT’S THE MARKET ANALYST AND CONSULTANT IN ME).One way of such “skipping” is answering the shortage of healthcare professionals not only by trying to increase salaries and motivate medicine students to stay here but also by optimizations - nothing is so bad that it cannot be optimized (THAT IS THE CONSULTANT IN ME).For example, by implementing a system of automatic remote geriatric patient interaction and monitoring solution that would guard the patient's state of health with a focus on early detection, and hospitalization-prevention to unburden the system where we can (THAT IS THE MAMSA FOUNDER IN ME).However, for that, we need to step up our game in how we educate our youth, how we form them, and focus on the development of skills that will bring up a generation of citizens who think not only as firefighters but also as fire prevention officers (THAT IS THE LEAF BOARD MEMBER IN ME).But all that is easier said than done especially so without covering one's own inability to deliver with wines of cliche phrases and piles of new “strategies” and “2030 plans”, so keep me in check that I don’t slip there on the way (THAT IS THE HRMO IN ME)
