As a Quantum Optics & Information Researcher, the focus of my current project revolves around the utilization of a PM (Polarization Maintained) fiber for the purpose of four-wave mixing. The primary objective of this project is to investigate and analyze the different modes through which quantum-entangled photons can be generated.The project involves conducting experiments to explore the quantum phenomena associated with the generation of entangled photons using the four-wave mixing technique in a PM fiber. The research aims to contribute to the understanding and advancement of quantum optics principles in the context of photon entanglement. Potential applications for this research include areas such as quantum cryptography and quantum communications, where secure and efficient transfer of quantum information is of utmost importance.In support of the experimental work, advanced software tools like COMSOL and Lumerical are employed for simulating optical fiber properties and light propagation. These simulations play a vital role in predicting and validating expected results, providing valuable insights before executing the actual experiments.By conducting rigorous research in the field of quantum optics and utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, the objective is to contribute to the progress of generating quantum-entangled photons. The ultimate goal is to pave the way for secure and efficient quantum technologies that can significantly impact areas such as cryptography and quantum communications.

Research Intern in Manufacturing of a Multifunctional Wearable Device Based on Reduced Graphene Oxide and Si-Quantum Dots.Contributed to the development of temperature sensing systems within the wearable device.Utilized characterization techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, XPS, SEM, and AFM.Collaborated in researching flexible electronics, leveraging recent nanotechnology and materials science advancements for practical applications in wearable devices using nanomaterials.

Conducted research and synthesized galfenol for utilization as a piezoelectric material in energy harvesting systems.Utilized microscopy techniques such as AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy) and MFM (Magnetic Force Microscopy) to characterize galfenol samples and analyze their properties at the nanoscale.

Capture, organize and prepare data for statistical analysis, using excel (macros), Pandas (Python’s library) and R.
