CurrentProjects I have led at BlueCode include: USAID ECAP II (Empowered Children and Adolescents Program)BlueCode works as part of a consortium led by Project Concern Zambia. Our contribution on this project is the design, development, and delivery of a full end to end case management platform that works on tablets.SmartCerv (Cervical Cancer Control Management Information System)Under a contract with Project Concern International, BlueCode delivered an offline-first information management system that manages patient information from enrollment through screening and referral. Further the system is designed to connect to DHIS2 and allow the sharing of information between multiple sites while providing robust data analysis dashboards both at Central level and on devices. Key features: Offline capable, visualisation dashboards both locally on device and centrally available, connected to DHIS2.Zambia Electronic Immunization Registry (ZEIR)Subcontracted by PATH, our major roles in the development of ZEIR included, among other tasks;a. Building the actual software application in partnership with ONA - a Kenyan software development company.b. Handling requirements changes and bug fixes, quality and user assurance testing and participating in the on-the-ground facility deployment in Southern Province, Zambia.c. Supporting the Ministry of Health with capacity building and technical assistance through creation of training materials, conducting training sessions, holding meetings to solicit feedback and so on.d. Developing the platform’s extensive data dashboards and automated reporting accessible by both PATH and MoH staff. Zambia U-reportWe built U-report by adapting an open source platform called RapidSMS to enable the exchange of messages between subscribers and the platform. U-report also features extensive data dashboards that support stakeholders’ decision making around mobilization and service delivery built on an open source visualization platform.
