Let me tell a story about André: When tickets for Digitalks Portugal got on sale, and after a few weeks of almost no selling, and frustration installing in this poor men's eyes, I made a deal with him. I told André something like this: "Andre. If you sell more than 100 tickets for the event, I'll pay you a lunch, in a place at your choice." I felt he was needing a push. And also, I had been in those shoes. I knew how difficult it is to sell tickets for an event, specially an event that was coming to Portugal for the first time. What I saw then was a super motivated worker, that had got the stimulation that he needed to try to think beyond the thinking line he had been following. And not only he passed the 100 mark, as he pushed it even further to reach the 200 mark. This is just an example of how results driven and sales orientated Andre is. For me he is also a friend. A guy with good intentions. A guy with a good sense of wright and wrong, and a guy who is never satisfied with the way things are, always looking to improve what he's doing. It was a pleasure to work with him, to help him every time he looked for my help, and to learn a lot of things about his beautiful S. Miguel island.
