Competence is an integrated communication agency offering content reputation and content management services through the use of PR, press office, social media management, blogger relations, events and community relations tools. Competence offers a distinctive and analytical strategic approach to integrated communication, which allows for flexibility in terms of timing and budget and relies on the expert use of new media.As Senior Consultant I support Competence by providing strategic consultancy for the internal and external communication activities of some of the main clients of the agency such as Generali Assicurazioni, Novartis, ABB and others. Specifically, I coordinate and manage the creation of virtual events, internal communication campaigns (content creation, visual identity, newsletters, graphic and video materials, creation of storyboards) and press office activities.

As a Communications Manager I deal with PR, Social Media and Influencer engagement activities for TripAdvisor in Italy.Main tasks and specialties include:- Development of communication strategies- Press office activities- Social media management- Data analysis- Influencer relations

As Senior Account I coordinated PR and digital communication activities for travel, tech and lifestyle clients of the agency working with brands like TripAdvisor, VizEat, HotelTonight and Verizon.

In Competence I took care of press office and communication activities for several costumers of the agency operating in the tech and social field such as LinkedIn, Symantec and ZTEMain projects followed include communication activities for the launch of LinkedIn in Italian and for the European contest LinkedIn Business Awards; launch of the ZTE tablet Tabula in partnership with PosteMobile; presentation of the annual Symantec Internet Security Threat Report and organization of the event for Symantec’s dealers and partners.

For AIM Group, leading company in the event and congress organization, I’ve worked at the set up of a number for events promoted by il Sole 24 Ore Group. Main tasks included the location selection and the support in identifying spokespersons and liaising with them.

I spent almost six months in Spain working in Aqueloo Comunicaciòn Responsable, a communication agency based in Valencia. Main activities included press office for several industries (healthcare, no profit and automotive), and the support in developing Corporate Social Responsibilities initiatives. Liaising with colleagues and with the agency’s clients I’ve had a chance to improve my Spanish both written and spoken.
