CurrentTalented Network Administrator to assist in the ongoing management of 130+ remote networks that we oversee all throughout the US. The Network Administrator is responsible for the overall provisioning, monitoring, and management of the various network infrastructure and systems deployed to our offices, remote client sites, and data center locations. The Network administrator ensures that network service and system availability is always maintained and performs troubleshooting and takes corrective actions to recover from outages in a manner in line with our contracts and service level agreements. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Receiving, unboxing, tagging, configuring, testing, boxing, provisioning, shipping, and remote testing all network infrastructure components including, but not limited to, firewalls, routers, switches, servers, analog terminal adapters, wireless access points, point-to-point relays, cellular modems, SFP modules, patch panels, racks, and other designated equipment, including proper entry into and updates to our asset tracking and management system. Accessing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration of designated equipment. Installing firmware or software updates to equipment and servers. Monitoring all networks and systems. Taking corrective actions to restore full service in the event of alarms. Receiving and answering trouble tickets related to network and system service issues. Assisting the Field Services team with turning up new circuits, remotely testing circuits and systems, and providing troubleshooting assistance. Traveling to data center, client, and office locations within the United States on short notice if necessary. Clearly communicating with other team members, departments, and clients during outages and resolving trouble tickets. Providing regular updates to supervisors regarding work activities.
