I assisted a team of four attorneys in the Employment/Labor Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Data Privacy and Security practice groups. My everyday responsibilities included but were not limited to conducting contact with existing and prospective clients, and local and opposing counsel; drafting personnel records requests, shell pleadings, and engagement letters; preparing exhibit binders and other preparation materials, to prepare attorneys for depositions and trial; entering time sheets via Intapp time; docketing; filing pleadings via Odyessey, PACER, CCAP, NLRB and the NAD.

I assisted a team of three partners and two associates, specializing in personal injury law, workers compensation, and employment litigation. My primary duties consisted of preparing open records request to obtain medical records and other pertinent documents necessary to aid attorneys; preparing interrogatory responses; preparing exhibit binders in preparation for upcoming trials and depositions; e-filing documents via the e-filing portal CCAP; proofreading and making revisions to documents; preparing correspondence to insurance companies, opposing counsel and prospective and existing clients.

I was responsible for e-filing on the filing portal Odyssey, as well as utilizing process servers such as Barrister. I would file up to 120 complaints, motions, aliases each day and assist the attorneys in corresponding with clients who would call us when litigation in debt collections became inevitable.

I completed a four-month internship with Judge Jason Rossell, in the Kenosha County Courthouse. I would observe cases - including the Rittenhouse v. State of Wisconsin court case - and the various legal techniques which both the lawyers employed as well as learn various court procedures, such as habeas corpus proceedings, evidentiary suppression motions and various other procedures.
