Joining Sensei is an opportunity to be at the cutting edge of reshaping the retail industry through groundbreaking AI-driven autonomous store technology.As Solution Manager at Sensei, my primary focus was on advancing our solutions portfolio to meet the evolving needs and challenges of our clients. This role granted me the privilege to immerse myself fully in understanding our product inside out. Collaborating closely with leading retailers across various regions, I had the chance to actively contribute to shaping the innovative products that define Sensei today.

Managing the project deliverables and team, focused on the retail sector, but now in the traditional brick and mortar stores of a major retail company, improving the operational efficiency of store operations (i.e., fresh-products services, replenishment, and store management).In the commercial area, we redesign the in-store theme-campaigns management end-to-end process, from the commercial planning and supplier negotiation to the in-store implementation.

Still, in the financial services sector, we develop a sustainable model to support and promote all the Lean and Continuous Improvement projects and events currently being implemented in the company (600 Pax).In the retail sector, we had the challenge to increase the capacity (+440k orders/year) of the e-commerce channel in a major retail company, by redesigning the whole online operation model, improving the order preparation's operational efficiency, and enhancing the efficiency of the last-mile distribution network.

Mainly focused on the financial services sector, by implementing and promoting a continuous improvement culture inside the company (600 pax). Additionally, improving the operational team's efficiency by driving more revenue and increasing the customer experience.

On top of my previous role, but more focused on the strategic operational changes and in mid/long-term projects; I was given a team to coordinate. Our goal is to pursue, develop and implement new and innovative ideas/initiatives/projects to improve the operational efficiency of all distribution centers of SONAE MC across the country.

In this role, I was focused, almost exclusively, in the brand-new e-commerce distribution center at Sonae. I had a very wide range of tasks, from an operational point of view by managing the warehouse space, providing efficient and ergonomic picking routes and attending a continuous improvement need of the entire operation; a more analytical support, by developing decision support tools; to being involved in the major strategic operational changes.Major initiatives: Implemented major layout and processes changes; Mediate the communications between the IT department and the operational team, i.e., gathering all the requirements and further operational implementation.It was an exciting opportunity to be part of this new and quite unique project.

The performance of the supply chains is a determinant factor in the success of the companies. For such, and considering that nowadays the markets require higher service levels at a reduced cost, the warehouses/distribution centers have seen their importance strengthened within the supply chain.This project consists in the analysis and the study to improve the operations executed in the warehouse of the pharmaceutical company. For this project it was used the SIMUL8 software to create a model which allows the simulation of the several procedures done by the major components of a product manufactured in Recipharm.

It was a part-time job where I helped young students (ages between 6 to 18) on their scholar activities.
