CurrentPhD Student at the Health Sciences and Technology Department in the Project Biotrib• Designed electrospinning experiments to optimize nanofiber diameter and mimic cartilage superficial layer (lamina splendens).• Optimized nanomaterials topographical properties • Collected and analysed data using state of the art equipment e.g. microscopy (SEM, Confocal), spectroscopy (1H NMR, FTIR-ATR, Raman, XRD, XPS, UV-VIS), and others (GPC, DSC, goniometer, tensiometer)• Analyzed data using scientific software (Prism GraphPad, OriginLab, Design Expert, and Matlab)• Developed basic in vitro assessments using bovine chondrocytes e.g., BCA and Ninhydrin Assays, Presto Blue, Immunohistochemistry (ICC).• Communicated results in two academic publications: one published at MPDI and one in peer-review, and two academic conferences.• Instructed more than 50 students for about 30 hours in topics related to surface functionalization and in vitro testing of biomaterials.
