- Smartphone Data Analysis and Customer Churn Prediction:• Conducted an analysis on a sample of data collected from smartphone users. The goal was to evaluate the potential of alternative data for improving the performance of current machine learning models and new insight about customers and decide whether or not use this data on a regular basis.• Performed a comprehensive exploration of data applications derived from smartphone users, using AWS Glue, AWS Athena, SQL, Python, and PySpark for ETL purposes.• Conducted thorough hypothesis testing and feature engineering to identify crucial data patterns, subsequently building a machine learning model to effectively predict customer churn.• The process of feature engineering developed by me was also used to explore other business problems such as personal loan.• A/B testing based on customers' apps.• My analysis showed that the data had potential to improve results and the company decided to use the alternative data in new projects.- Fraud Detection and Business Intelligence:• Used Python, SQL, AWS, and PowerBI to automate ETL processes and construct dynamic PowerBI dashboards for tracking performance metrics in fraud detection for diverse financial products.• Engineered an anomaly detection algorithm using users' system logs, resulting in the timely detection of over 50 instances of suspicious activities by employees within just two months of deployment.- Product Team Data Analyst/Scientist:• Visualized data trends and results with graphs and charts.• Presented findings orally and in writing to share results of mathematical analyses.• Extensive and thorough data analysis to generate business insights for different products. • Analyzed structured and unstructured data to extract actionable business insights.• Proposal of experiments to test the hypotheses originated from the insights.• Customer segmentation using unsupervised learning.

- Data AnalysisResponsible for analyzing experimental data obtained by a x-ray scanner of a bubble reactor. Based on the data, I rebuilt the bubble flow inside the reactor as a function of time, which allowed to identify the flow regime, to track the bubbles path and other flow parameters.

- ModelingDevelopment of a mathematical model and numerical simulation for a novel heat exchanger coupled with thermoelectrical refrigerators (peltier modules). The model was developed and implemented on MATLAB. The results of this work were published in an international scientific periodic.- Data pipeline for data extraction, processing and analysis.Development of and end-to-end data pipeline for analysis of experimental data. The data was collected from sources like temperature and pressure probes, flow meters and an infrared camera. After collecting all the data treatment, analyses were performed to make decisions about the experimental apparatus behavior. The images from the infrared camera were used to evaluate the temperature of the apparatus and to fit curves for the physical phenomena associated with it. This whole process was automated by me, generating automatic reports at the end.
