Data Engineer on the Tax & Invoice team, responsible for maintaining and implementing new features in the Ads & Promos vertical. Additionally, I collaborate with other team members to adopt best practices in Data Engineering across our Invoicing platform.

As the first Data Engineer in the company, I was responsible, together with our co-founding CTO, for designing and implementing the company’s data architecture. We implemented, among other tools, Apache Kafka (managed by AWS) to stream data into our Data Warehouse (Snowflake), dbt as the framework for data transformation and dagster as our orchestrator.Throughout this process, we also implemented the following:- a process that identifies abandoned shopping carts by reading data directly in Snowflake and that sends notifications to our users;- integrations between Google Sheets, Snowflake, and Metabase (our BI tool), empowering our internal users and increasing their productivity;- an internal data-contracts library;- creation of the XML for Google Merchant Center;- scraping of prices for selected products from Trela's competitors;- auditing between our Sales Report and our Ledger;- process that sends the NPS survey to selected users;- various dashboards in Metabase (for example, our Sales Funnel);- enrichment of our Product Analytics platform (Posthog) with data sourced from Snowflake;- various data tests in Snowflake, including data load and consistency, capturing several bugs in production systems.For the last few months, I led the Data Engineering team and was responsible for team planning, task management and alignment with other areas of the company.

Together with other data scientists and engineers from the Data Intelligence team:- we created a product that automated the data processing and the calculation of performance metrics related to ads aired on open TV (using Streamlit as an internal interface and various Google Cloud Platform products as backend).- we maintained existing data pipelines that used Apache Spark and Apache Airflow as processing frameworks.

Data Engineer responsible for:- managing instances of BigQuery inside many projects within Google Cloud Platform and, in some cases, manage other GCP products (like Cloud Functions and Cloud Scheduler). - doing SQL searches in a Data Clean Room created by Google for marketing agencies (Ads Data Hub).- developing and maintaining notebooks in Python with reports and models using the data available across the organization.
