I am a C-level executive with more than 30 years holding leadership positions within leading retail companies in Spain and Portugal. In the recent years, I have been involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem from an angel investor and business mentor perspective, an activity I developed in parallel with business and financial consulting (M&A) and the professional development in the areas of digital technologies, corporate finance, and how companies should approach environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics.Along my career I’ve developed solid Sales, Marketing and Business Development skills and a strong business acumen and financial, analytical and decision-making capabilities. I have also been given the opportunity to build and lead multidisciplinary teams, that consistently demonstrated the ability to overcome difficult challenges and deliver better than expected results. I have ran businesses with annual turnover ranging from 20 to 500 M€ and teams of 80 to 2000 people, as general manager, commercial and marketing director, retail director, business unit director and store manager, serving also as a member of the respective executive committees. I have also mentoring diffrent startups helping them develop and validate MVP and acted as consultant and interim manager in several comercial and financial projects.
