Found my passion in the field of Telecommunications, and seeing where it takes me. Currently working with MDC Data Centers here in Laredo Texas. I have about a little more than 2 years of experience with different companies. I got my Associates Degree in Networking and Cyber Security, and that got my feet wet into the field and showed me the physical and software side of networking. I started working for Companies that install Cameras and build out network Topologies. I’ve been in some very important network topology buildouts for local and federal governments, School districts, and import & export companies, all these major network topology buildouts happened under the company Global Technologies. I got experience in structured cabling, OSHA 30-hour safety certification, configuring camera systems/cameras, camera installations, troubleshooting variety of network issues coming from warehouse security cameras, installing data lines in a variety of cable channels, working independently or with a team. I’ve also worked for an Internet Service Provider here in Laredo called, Coeus Internet. I got experience in ticketing systems, handling customer support, customer relations, on-call 24/7 for network incident response, Experience in ISP scenario and OSP, fiber splicing, fiber cuts repairs, worked with 60ghz and 5ghz RF beam technologies (Longest 60ghz link done was 1.3 miles long), Using PTP and PTMP, providing fiber speeds to customers through RF technologies, working with different network boxes and equipment on the physical side for the most part, Main technician expansion manager, handling the buildout for the setup of RF beam technologies, handling inventory, training new technicians, troubleshooting fiber and data cables for different devices, risk assessment and prevention, in charge of network expansion and network improvements, working along side the CEO for bringing in new clients and building relationships, monitoring systems 24/7 during storms to repair damages, familiar with fiber tools and equipment. Currently started a new job with MDC Data Centers and seeing where it takes me, thank you for taking your time to read my experience!
