Development LeadBercman Technologies Aug 2021 - Jun 2022Tartu, Tartumaa, EstoniaSince August 2021, I've been serving as a Development Manager and Electronics Team Leader at Bercman Technologies AS, where I drive innovation by adopting cutting-edge technologies. At our company, we leverage efficient microcomputers, machine vision, low-energy radars, and my expertly designed PCBs to create revolutionary traffic devices. Throughout my tenure, I've focused heavily on ensuring CE compliance, taking a hands-on approach to both testing and documentation for LVS, RED, and EMC requirements. I'm proud to lead a team of talented engineers in creating forward-thinking solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible. -
Electronics Team LeadSolaride Feb 2020 - Oct 2021Tartu, Tartumaa, EstoniaUpon graduating from TalTech with a Bachelor's degree in Cyberphysical Systems Engineering, I had the privilege of joining the Solaride Solar Car Development Team. Within a month, I was promoted to Electronics Team Lead, where I oversaw a talented group of 10 engineering students across several sub-teams, including solar panels, high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), microcontroller (MCU), and sensorics. As the Electronics Team Lead, I was responsible for selecting and ordering components, as well as providing feedback and approving designs. Working alongside esteemed mentors Knuth Helekivi and Tõnu Samuel, we were able to develop a remarkably efficient DC/DC solution with an innovative approach, achieving an impressive 99.8% efficiency.Given the demanding time schedule, all engineering tasks had to be agile and error-free. In one instance, I designed a BMS PCB late at night, which was produced by our sponsor, Brandner PCB, the very next day and delivered personally to Tartu. I quickly soldered the components and had the PCB working within 24 hours of the initial design. This demonstrates our team's dedication and ability to work swiftly and effectively to achieve our goals.
