As Co-Founder and Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Skill Toaster (currently at the MVP stage), I worked to build an AI-driven platform transforming human resource recruitment through machine learning and NLP. My role involved developing a Named Entity Recognition (NER) model with transfer learning from SpaCy to identify specific skills in CVs, enabling accurate skill extraction. I also created a DBSCAN clustering system using word embeddings to group and organize skills hierarchically, allowing for effective CV grading against job requirements. Additionally, I streamlined the deployment process by containerizing models and leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure, enabling scalable and accessible API integration for our platform. www.skilltoaster.com

As part of a small postgraduate team, I was hired to develop an AI-powered cybersecurity chatbot to interview small business owners to assess system vulnerabilities, score their systems, and provide recommendations for improvement. I was mainly responsible for designing and developing the web interface for the chatbot. I began by creating design prototypes using Figma, which I had to develop later with Flask, Python, HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript. In addition to the web development, I was also responsible for creating a grading system that evaluated the business owners’ responses to the chatbot interview, as well as integrating Chatbot API functions with the AWS backend for smooth operation.

Specializing in the human resource department, I work with the datasets of the 4 main corporations that comprise Iconn's 24,000 employees. I am responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. More specifically, I create visually compelling dashboards, automate information extraction processes and create key indicators to measure employee performance and productivity. Through the use of statistical analysis, I focus on increasing productivity and working towards becoming a more efficient corporation.

MtyDigitalHub is a business focused on becoming Mexico's premier digital transformation ecosystem. As a part-time employee, I specialize in administering their online courses, that range from python basics to machine learning and data mining. Grading students´ homework and attending classes as a teaching instructor, ready to answer any doubts that may arise from the class subject. As well as translating python code, presentations, and other course notes from English to Spanish.
