Mr. Schaffner is a business developer and entrepreneur who currently works as the Head of Business Unit "Retail Technology" at Bison Schweiz AG. Prior to this role, he co-founded WebGate Consulting AG and played a key role in building the company as an operations manager and senior consultant. During this time, he also acquired several IT service companies as a board member and successfully integrated them into WebGate. After 18 years, he sold his shares in WebGate to his former business partner and joined Bison Schweiz AG in early 2019 to take over the struggling "ESL" business unit.Under his leadership, the business unit expanded into Switzerland and won strategically important new customers.
