MN8 Technologies is a start-up company that developed a cloud based market place platform that uses the advantages of self-sovereign identity, smart contracts, private and public block chains and cyber currency.

Agulhas is a holding company with a number of subsidiaries in the high tech environment.

VASTech develops and distributed complex communication products internationally. During my tenure I was responsible for most senior management roles and was an executive director and member of the board. The roles and responsibilities included: Project Manager; Director - Sales and Marketing (international sales); Managing Director; Director Strategic Planning and Operations (COO); Director - Technology and Product Development (CTO). Functions that reported to me over the period, at one stage or another, included: Development Engineering; Solutions Engineering; Product Management; Sales and Marketing; MIS and Sage financial systems; ICT; Specific legal compliance, and Production.

Roles at Spescom-DataVoice included that of Product Management (new products) and International Channel Manager. During this period, I established and grew a number of international sales channels, mainly in Europe and the UK.

During this time, I had two main responsibilities. I was responsible for a department that delivered system engineering and project management functions during the development of a major electronic naval system and other naval projects. In addition, we created new business for the team, outside of military development work. Part of this included product management and international introduction of a new commercial vessel management system.

I was responsible, as Mediclinic (MCC) representative on various professional teams, for all non-civil engineering work on new hospital projects in the Western Cape. In addition I was responsible for the maintenance and operations of engineering services at MCC-hospitals and clinics in the Western Cape, as well for the development of selected electronic products.

Managed two teams, responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the electrical distribution and reticulation system in the town and municipal rural area, from 66 kV down to household voltages. In addition I was responsible for municipal electronic systems and metering.

I was responsible for specific sub-system and product development, such high performance switch mode PSUs, laser distance measurement, laser target pointers. (Eloptro was bought over by Carl Zeiss and later by Hensoldt).
