I have been involved in numerous drainage retrofit design, civil infrastructure design, and construction projects for SAI. I have been responsible for creating GIS models, modeling in CADD, and the preparation of construction documents. Also, assisted in project permitting and the design of primary and secondary stormwater systems.YMCA Hastings Street Drainage Improvements: (Orange County, FL; Roads & Drainage Div.): As Design Intern, I have assisted with the development of construction documents from creating the terrain model to developing cross-sections, plan profiles, and special details. In addition, he conducted field visits to take additional measurements needed for the final design.Jungle Hut Property Site Development (Flagler County, FL; Atlee Development): Provided stormwater design support using both GIS and MicroStation programs. During the design phase, prepared the terrain model, assisted engineers with horizontal alignment, cost estimates, and development of construction plans. Also, assisted with researching previous permits and construction plans to analyze the existing stormwater conditions. Town Center at Palm Coast Tract 19 (Flagler County, FL; Douglas Properties & Development, Inc.): Assisted with the development of conceptual layout options using MicroStation, in addition to the preparation of construction plans including the preliminary water and sewer utility layouts. FDOT D3 - SR 263 at Stoneler Road (Leon County, FL; FDOT): Served as a Design Intern for this FDOT roadway safety improvement project. Roadway improvements consisted of widening a portion of SR 263 to construct a left-turn lane at the Stoneler Road intersection. I was responsible for incorporating revisions to the construction plan set.Oakview Drive Drainage Improvements Project (Orange County, FL; Roads & Drainage Div.): Assisted the engineers developing the construction plan set using GeoPaK for this drainage retrofit project.
