As general manager of Spanish Cay, a luxury resort in the Bahamas, I oversaw the daily operations and customer service of the property. I leveraged my cloud computing skills to optimize the resort’s IT infrastructure, improve data security and reduce costs. I also applied my expertise in database management and SQL query creation to manage better purchasing and customer information.In addition to my management role, I am an information technology student at Penn State University, pursuing my degree remotely. I have a passion for learning new technologies and programming languages, such as Java, Python and C#. I have completed several courses and certifications on LinkedIn, and CodeCademy such as SAP ERP Essential Training, Git and GitHub, Excel: Macros and others. I have also developed several software projects for the university and as a freelancer, demonstrating my ability to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.I am proud of my academic accomplishments as I have earned Alpha Sigma Lambda honors status and multiple listings on the Dean’s List. I am driven by the belief that technology has the power to transform lives and have a positive impact.
