I led initiatives on digitalization, focusing on areas such as new business models, the platform economy, online disclosures, and blockchain. Furthermore, I led EIOPA's work on open insurance and the Framework for Financial Data Access (FIDA).I am also the architect of the EU Supervisory Digital Finance Academy (EU-SDFA), a training program that has equipped over 1,500 financial supervisors across the EU to manage the risks and opportunities presented by advanced technologies in the financial sector.On the international stage, I represented EIOPA in the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) FinTech Forum, where I co-led the open insurance subgroup.Before my time at EIOPA, I worked in the Insurance Policy Department at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Estonia. There, I focused on insurance and pension fund policies, with a particular emphasis on data protection and financial innovation.
