Using SALT, having automated processes build the pages on launch. Amazon Tools used: EC2, Route 53, RDS, S3- Succesfully migrating websites from physical servers to the Amazon cloud, ensuring minimal downtime, and migrating/expanding AWS servers with no downtime through Elastic IP.- Building a monitoring solution for our hosted sites, which aggregates the logs from all of our clients on an internal site and permits the developers to query logs with a vast array of filters to choose from (and some nifty charts, for that manager-candy). Tools used: Logstash, Logstash Forwarder (formerly Lumberjack), Elasticsearch, Kibana 3.- Recovering crashed sites within minutes of them going down. Being oncall 24/7, I have been on top of every unforeseen problem no matter the day or the hour. We achieved 100% uptime for most sites and 99.x% for others. - Taking charge of GPMD's support system, getting the company record of closed tickets.
