Having served on BDO’s leadership team for a period of 8 years, Andres enjoys working with great people to drive business and personal success.Andres’ passion is working with international businesses and fund managers with interests in Australia. He assists global businesses enter and succeed in the local Australian market by providing market entry advice around structuring, regulatory obligations and reporting systems. Having a European background, he appreciates the additional challenges that come with cultural, language and regulatory differences global entities experience on entering the Australian market.Andres built up a successful outsourcing practice which provides finance function services to global organisations and fund managers with operations and investments in Australia. Services include management reporting, tax compliance, payroll and treasury services. Andres and his team work closely with local management and head office finance teams to ensure reporting obligations are met, reporting is efficient and the local entity meets its potential.Andres also holds non-executive directorships for Australian subsidiaries of multinationals. These companies rely on Andres to manage the ongoing corporate secretarial requirements as well as actively communicate on local Australian issues as they arise.Andres was appointed to lead BDO’s Real Estate & Construction team in 2020. In addition, he sits on BDO’s Global Steering Committee for Real Estate & Construction as well as chairing the Global Property Outsourcing Committee for BDO.In addition to his day to day role at BDO, Andres also sits on boards and committees of various organisations in the not-for-profit and education sector
