This task involved researching industry information such as Analyst and Industry reports, think-tank papers, analysis of financial statements, business valuations among others.

Delivery of investment banking / consulting projects to middle size and small companies (start-ups) in Norway and Colombia in areas such as: Fundraising, valuations, business plan preparation, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, start-up processes, financial planning, valuation, investors/finance search and investment appraisals.Part of the founding management team responsible for business planning, fundraising and partnership building. Team efforts resulted in raising USD$ 1M of seed capital and strong institutional support and advice from the Norwegian government agency Fredskorpset. Business development activities, which involved partnership building, research and marketing; resulted in client relations and revenue generation of USD$ 500K from corporations in the IT services, software development, internet and exports sectors in Colombia and Norway.

During that period of time I attended to several national and international training conferences in locations such as: Ecuador, Dominican Republic, South Africa, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Slovenia. My main achievements in the organization are related to the placement of more than 120 international students in internship programs in top companies in Colombia and Sweden and for companies worldwide.
