Analyzed factors blocking changes in the way Ekonom assessed its back office performance. Mapped flow of information and identified sources of delays and distortions using electronic commerce tools. Efforts enabled the company to institute a series of targeted, timely reviews. Result: Increased gross margins from minus 10% to plus 20%. Invoicing errors dropped to zero, collections doubled.• Launched first Voice Over on Internet gateway in Mexico, using technologies from Intertel, Clarent and Cisco. Result: A new business opportunity was born.

Participated in closing the deal for Ekonom Mexico to be the exclusive Value Added Reseller for AT&T Easylink Services. Result: More than 2000 corporate customers in Mexico.

• Negotiated Joint-Venture with a major US carrier for Ethnic Marketing of Long Distance Telecommunications Services. Result: Incorporation of wholly owned subsidiary in the U.S.• Directed the successful deployment of Ekonom’s branch office in Monterrey Mexico. Result: Reached brake even point in one and a half months. Increased sales to 500% within 2 years. • Succeeded on closing deal for Ekonom Mexico to be first International Value Added Reseller for BBN Technologies from Cambridge, MA. Result: Sold Mexico’s Central Bank Internet Access.• Led the Mexican team on AT&T’s Web Services deployment around the globe.
