The most important contracts achieved were: Telefonica’s Redbanc 5 million dollar contract, for the provision, installation and operational continuity of the access network for 3,500 ATMs; Falabella 1,7 million dollar contract, providing the ATMs perimeter security, under the law 222 and the consolidation of Derco´s ICT outsourcing services, covering microcomputer services, datacenter, telephony and network management.

In charge of an Outsourcing ICT Service Business Unit. Transforming important losses, without sales to a service that grew from 12 to 26 MUSD of annual turnover and providing over 40% of ebitda to Entel´s TI business line; achieving also the first place in market share in its segment. This was accomplished by the implementation of a new business model, improving the complete value chain for this service; restructuring of a fragmented operating model into a unified service model based on industry best practices. The new model helps systematize, improve service indicators and reduce costs through scale economies achieved by a unified multiservice, multi-company service model.Most important contracts awarded were Banco Chile US 31 million 13,000 users 18,000 devices; Registro Civil US 20 million 400 branches; Los Heroes 200 branches; DIBAM 400 branches; Fonasa and AMSA. Also new product lines were launched, like the perimeter security service, featuring the awarded contract of 1,000 surveillance cameras for 200 branches for Los Heroes.

Introduced a range of new technology solutions to the company offering: Mission Critical ICT Systems and infrastructure under turnkey and outsourcing arrangements. Sells and develops the first active-active multisite operating continuity concept and successfully applied it to the banking sector. This ICT solution provides multi-site high availability and disaster recovery capabilities validated by the government bank regulatory authority. Supervised implementation of a total of US$4-million worth of consultancy assistance within an overall transaction volume of some US$40 million. Led implementation of Hewlett Packard’s outsourcing, IT management and infrastructure systems in Chile. Duties included customer relations, coordination of local and foreign specialists, subcontract administration, definition of scope, scheduling, costing, etc.HP Chile’s IT consulting business grew 100 percent over these three years on account of exceptional consulting sales and superior project management results. Contributing to this accomplishment was his achieving the area’s highest margin gain average, an indicator deemed key due to its impact on overall financial results.Improved business ties to HP Partners, which helped generate new, technically skilled points of sale enhancing HP’s market standing.
