After a successful exit at ProductPlan, I decided to take a career break to spend more time with my wife, our toddler, and my family abroad.

ProductPlan is a software company that was founded in 2013. ProductPlan provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to better manage product strategies. Bow River Capital acquired ProductPlan in April 2022.Some of my accomplishments included:■ Established marketing department from the ground up (hired and trained over a dozen employees).■ Created lead pipeline from the ground up to deliver 30K+ leads per quarter (almost all sales originated from marketing leads)■ Grew ARR from <$500K to $10M+.■ As an executive team member, completed sale of company in April 2022.

Marketing consultant for several technology companies. Created marketing strategies, product positioning and messaging, marketing and sales materials, market and competitor analysis, and marketing programs (especially SEM and SEO campaigns).

RightScale is a software company that was founded in 2006. RightScale provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for managing applications on cloud computing infrastructure. RightScale powers the cloud’s largest and most advanced public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments. RightScale was acquired by Flexera in September 2018.■ Integral player for product positioning and messaging, marketing and sales materials, market and competitor analysis, and customer intelligence.■ Wrote, designed, and implemented web copy, written collateral, email nurturing, landing pages, videos and contributed to our corporate blog.■ Developed and storyboarded sales product demo, created other sales enablement tools, and lead training activities for customer facing teams.

■ Launched and managed RightScale's organic and paid search programs from the ground up. Both programs contributed significantly to RightSale's lead and sales pipeline. ■ Selected and managed agency to work on search marketing programs.■ Established RightScale's Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) program from the ground up to improve visit-to-lead conversion rates.

■ First marketing hire. Managed website re-design to better communicate RightScale's position in an early rapidly growing market. Selected and managed external agency, and worked together with the CEO on new positioning and messaging. ■ Managed RightScale's event programs and launched multiple online marketing programs from the ground up.■ Established RightScale's marketing tracking systems which is the backbone for all marketing success metrics.

Sonos is a consumer electronics company that was founded in 2002. Sonos makes wireless audio products and is a market leader in digital music solutions for the home. Sonos went public in August 2018.■ Drove qualified website traffic to grow direct selling channel.■ Managed multiple online marketing programs (paid search, organic search, email campaigns and display advertising).■ Wrote, designed, and implemented web copy, written collateral, email campaigns, landing pages and micro-sites.

■ Storyboarded and designed numerous landing pages, micro-sites and display banners ads.

My Best Interest is a software company that was founded in 2006 and provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to help consumers save money on their credit card debt.Some of my accomplishments included:■ Helped founder and CEO to start the company from the ground up and onboarded first team members.■ Managed offshore software development team. ■ Developed initial marketing and sales materials.

Citrix Online is a software company that provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for web-based remote access, support, and collaboration. The core technologies that would become Citrix Online were originally built by the company Expertcity that was founded in 1997 and was acquired by Citrix Systems in 2004.■ Managed the GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting online affiliate programs.

■ Maintained Citrix Online's MarCom website.

■ Designed and built landing pages, micro-sites and display banner ads.

Mediata Communications is an internet agency that was founded in 1996. Mediata Communications develops and designs applications and websites for their clients. Some of my accomplishments included:■ Developed and built entire websites for clients.■ Designed and built landing pages, micro-sites and display banner ads.■ Built a Content Management System (CMS).
