Director Legal for Harley-Davidson's Europe, Middle East and Africa Operations.- Responsible for providing legal support and advice to Harley-Davidson’s EMEA operations. Created and advised on implementation of Harley-Davidson’s first GDPR compliance program from scratch. Primary legal contact and support to the company’s Data Privacy Office.- Advised on all areas of data protection and privacy including: drafting customer and employee privacy notices; drafting data transfer agreements and data protection language for service provider MSA templates; advising on cookie law; advising on GDPR and PECR compliant marketing and all other requirements under GDPR; advising on data breaches and drafting data breach policies; drafting and advising on data privacy impact assessments; advising on Data Privacy Officer requirements; drafting intercompany data transfer agreements including SCCs; advising on data transfers to countries outside the EU and UK; developing individual rights processes and responding to individual rights requests; advising on developments in data protection and privacy laws.- Advised on data privacy laws and regulations in other markets including Canada, the United States and the Middle East.- Advising, drafting and negotiating partnership, supplier, service provider, sponsorship and trademark license agreements.- Advising on key commercial and compliance areas such as GDPR, e-Comms, consumer rights and sales promotions.- Drafting and advising on dealer (distribution) contracts, rental operator agreements and tour operator agreements.- Advising on competition law issues including setting up dealer distribution network selective distribution system.- Extensive experience drafting and advising on service and supply agreements including IT, logistics, marketing and consulting agreements.- Advising on various company secretarial matters including board appointments, company filings, POA, company formations and board resolutions.- Advising on compliance issues including product compliance, anti-bribery, modern slavery etc.
