In 2019 I returned to my role of senior consultant at OR Consultancy. We address the needs of (European) works councils and management regarding employee representation and participation in organizational change (mostly restructuring, M&A, strategic HR and the implementation of HR policies and systems).I have been working as a consultant since 1994, specialized in coporate strategy and internationalization in the context of restructuring, M&A and HR. At OR Consultancy I assess managements proposals and creatively solve the puzzle of how to structure formal employee representation in todays versatile organizations. Furthermore I coach and guide works councils in how to be a relevant partner for management and a proper representative of their constituence through advice, coaching and workshops. Clients are predominantly Works Councils of the bigger (international) companies in the Netherlands. I also participate in European research commissioned by European institutions.Over the past few years I have primarily been involved in take overs, refinancing, restructuring . As private equity plays a big role in M&A we have built up a certain expertise in that area at OR Consultancy. Recently I supported the works council of the Innovation and Strategy group at Philips Nederland NV, the renowned medical devices builder in the Netherlands.
