Handled on-site and remote server administration, end user software and hardware troubleshooting, tape backups and restores, asset management, installation and maintenance of HP printers and antivirus software deployment and updates. Maintained secondary location with same responsibilities. Locations were part of a seven office WAN with PDC and multiple BDC’s running Compaq Proliant Server hardware. Mixed server environment of Novell NetWare 4.11 and NT 4.0/2000. Approximate user base was 750 users running Windows NT/2000/98 workstations and laptops.

Created and modified COBOL programs referencing IDMS databases for Y2K. Wrote suite of COBOL programs used to transfer databases from mainframe to UNIX platform. Created how-to guide on application turnover from test to production mainframe environment. Used TSO and ISPF mainframe environment.
