I worked on the Midwest major donors team for both the Biden and Harris Victory Funds, which helped raise a combined $2 billion, and I formed relationships with the Midwest donors and raisers who contributed to such a record-breaking sum. In my role, I planned, executed, and staffed dozens of events across the Midwest with Vice President Harris, Governor Walz, President Obama, Secretary Buttigieg, and other campaign surrogates. I also maintained the campaign's donor database and composed memos for White House principals, surrogates, and senior staff.

I worked over three years in William & Mary's on-campus writing center, where I helped revise academic writing and consult on appropriate word choice, style, and language. All in all, I have 1,000+ hours in peer-writing experience. I also served as the editor of the WRC's blog.

I worked in the program for American Congress & Government, under senior fellows Molly Reynolds and Sarah Binder, mostly studying Congress, my primary research interest. I assisted with Dr. Binder’s longtime study of congressional gridlock, helped maintain Brookings’ Vital Statistics on Congress database, and researched legislative histories. At the end of my time, I was awarded the Pietro S. Nivolo Intern Award in Governance Studies for a “commitment to the Brookings values of intellectual curiosity, collegiality, inclusion, and leadership.”

I presided over all meetings of the organization and served as its official campus representative. I set up social and activism committees to recruit more members and increase involvement. I also presided over a ten-member executive board to lead the club’s short- and long-term planning.

I got my start at W&M Young Dems coordinating weekly student GOTV operations, including phone banks and canvasses every weekend for the local state delegate, state senator, and the three statewide races in Virginia. Altogether, we helped mobilize thousands of students to go to the polls in Virginia.

I worked on Senator Duckworth's economic and judicial legislative teams to write bill co-sponsorship memos and vote recommendations that went directly to the Senator. I also helped in communications, where drafted press releases, fact-check speeches, and produced social media content.

Our finance team raised more contributions than any previous LG race in Virginia history ($5.5 million post-primary, $6.79 million total), from 7K+ donors and over 10K contributions. We outraised our opponent by a magnitude of 2.5x and secured more votes than top of the ticket. As a fellow, I made fundraising calls, worked on call logs, coordinated events, and maintained a donor database in NGP.
