In this seasonal role, I spent 15 hours a week directly interacting with both children (ages 5-13) as well as adults as a part of the coaching staff at this club. This entails teaching technique, tactics, and sharing my knowledge and experience as a high level player to juniors who share similar problems that I have faced/overcame. In addition I was responsible for aiding in maintaining organization and cleanliness in the club/on court in order to keep customers returning. From this experience, I have grown a proficiency in the use of clear and concise commination in order to convey complex ideas to children. Additionally, this position allowed me to develop tremendously as a leader when it comes to managing groups of people and ensuring that the environment is fit for their age and skill level.
