As a policy intern at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions, I was engaged in the research and analysis of climate and energy policy subjects. This included updating and rewriting a number of C2ES' state policy maps which detail state-level policies in place across the country. Policies I covered during my revision work included renewable portfolio standards, energy efficiency resource standards, climate action plans, utility decoupling, zero and low-emission vehicle policies, and carbon capture policies. Other work of mine while at C2ES included analyzing how corporations are planning to manage the effects of climate change policies and physical climate change impacts on their businesses and examining how proposed carbon pricing policies have evolved in the United State since Waxman-Markey passed the U.S. House of Representatives in 2009.
