Traveled Southeast US teaching MicroStation and GEOPAK to consulting firms. The clases in Florida were to the Florida Department of Transportation specifications. Also taught GEOPAK Site, Quantity Manager and the process of calculating quantities. The classes started at using survey data to produce DTM's, then calculating Vertical and Horizontal alignments plus cross sections and earthwork. While home I provided telephone support on the proper use of various engineering software for our clients and those of Bentley Systems. This included logging the calls, follow up on the calls and the creation of an FAQ database.

Kept the CADD Computer Network up and going, Secured $250,000 contract from FDOT to test FDOT developed software. Did bring old project up to current CADD/Design standards using MicroStation and GEOPAK. This involved a 4 lane with Suicide median to 6 lane with controlled turns. Included 3 retention ponds.

Covered all aspects of Roadway Design from the creation DTM's to plotting existing cross sections. Running GEOPAK for these calculations and running the horizontal layout for the roadway and plotting both horizontal and vertical alignment. Proposed superelevation shapes and proposed cross sections. Use MicroStation DNC Manager to calculate quantities to FDOT Standards. Create Electronic Delivery. All calculations done to current FDOT Specs.
