Social Finance's mission is to mobilize capital for social progress. Social Finance uses a Pay for Success model, which funds effective social services through performance-based contracts, to bring together governments, service providers, and private investors. As an Associate, I worked across issue areas, including healthcare, workforce development, and education. I worked closely with government partners to improve data collection practices and models for assessing service providers; I helped service providers design scaling plans and develop systems to assess delivery models; I also designed an impact assessment tool to help quantify and compare social impact across issue areas. I also served as a project lead, managing an internal team and client relationships.

As an Associate, I worked across industries, including industrials, consumer products, healthcare, and aviation. My responsibilities included leading market research campaigns through interviews and consumer surveys, building revenue forecast and market forecast models, and conducting cost-synergy analyses.

Conducted qualitative research examining utilization of existing HIV/AIDS testing and treatment services in Guangzhou. Worked with the UNC Project-China research group on HIV cure trial research.Co-authored and reviewed publications from the Sun Yat-sen University School of Public Health (example topics include suicidal ideation in MMT patients, TB rates in southern China, effect of open-air poultry markets on public health, etc.)

Performed quantitative and qualitative analysis in mixed-methods research project examining mental health of Boston area refugee adolescents.
