Finance Executive with 30 years' extensive experience of financial services businesses initially advising as a tax consultant with Ernst & Young and then Price Waterhouse. Later joined General Re specialising in taxation, accounting and regulatory issues before transferring to a global role to run some significant IT projects in the US and Germany. In 2005 returned to the UK operations as CFO of the group's UK and Ireland based reinsurance businesses which comprised P&C and Life & Health operations and a Lloyd's syndicate. Joined Atrium, a Lloyd's of London insurance business, as Group Finance Director in 2007 with responsibility for all financial reporting and management, capital management (including Solvency II), investments, and taxation matters.In April 2013 joined Brit Insurance Group [Brit completed a successful IPO on 2 April 2014 and was included in the FTSE 250] and served as Chief Financial Officer leaving in September 2015 after Brit was acquired by Fairfax Financial.In May 2016 appointed Chief Financial Officer of Tullett Prebon PLC, the inter-dealer broker, renamed TP ICAP plc on successfully completing the acquisition of ICAP Global Broking from NEX Group plc at the end of 2016. In August 2018 appointed Group Chief Financial Officer of Tilney Group a leading UK wealth management group.Particularly enjoy involvement in transactions, process and system improvement, developing organisational structures, financial planning and global taxation issues.
