In my current role with JLL, I am 2IC to the Operations Director, governing over 450+ properties across the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance Portfolio. Leveraging off my solid engineering and facilities management background, I assist in driving a team of 28 Operations Team Members, ESS team and Real Estate, developing a solid culture through expert mentoring and leadership. Leading by example, I place a high value on driving sustainability initiatives in the areas of power, solar, equipment, and NABERS ratings and provide ongoing contractors management to ensure performance management and procurement KPIs are met.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Creating, implementing, managing, and maintaining CAPEX for a 4-year rolling plan, spanning all sites and encompassing a $155m budget. • Implementing a portfolio-wide asset management framework, triggering and capturing all plant, equipment capture, lifecycle monitoring and WO management, rolling out over 18 months and across 30,000 assets.

As a National Technical Adviser for all building engineering, ICT spaces, hard and soft services, I led all procurement, tenders and contracts management, ensuring best prices and contract conditions were achieved.• Management and support of critical infrastructure for five Data Centres, Twenty-five communication rooms and all facilities hard services infrastructure - including: CRAC air conditioning, Mains power supply, UPS systems, fire systems, electrical, Data Centre monitoring and back-up generator systems• Co-ordinate and lead 10 direct line reports which included: A team of operations and admin support staff• Manage operational and capital budgets, including the forecasts for future life-cycle asset replacement• Create and implement change management strategies and plans • Manage all sites security systems i.e. Access control systems, CCTV, Monitoring, guarding and site security incident investigations• Building engineering, data centers, hard services systems, PPM and asset life cycle management • Department procurement, tendering and contracts management • Representative for company wide infrastructure and system changes• Contractor Management for insurances, service contracts and Health & Safety managementKEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Multiple Real Estate relocation projects – including make good works and new site refurbishments (each project total $600K budget). Managed the processes for the contracts transition with minimal disruption to staff/services• Efficiently project managed the National 24/7 Data centre / Communications room critical services monitoring and preventative maintenance contract• Project managed transition of local contracts to national service contracts reducing cost & improving contractor management

Following my success at Exxon Mobil, I was engaged on a contract basis and created strategic action plans and developed the ongoing sustainability of the service station network. I also negotiated new contract agreements and project managed the implementation of Biofuels to service stations across NSW. • Development and ongoing sustainability of the service station network including premium fuel initiatives, fuel system upgrades, New Bio Fuels implementation projects, site environmental rectification projects and other site-specific projects• Prepared strategic action plans, monitored performance to achieve the required KPI’s• Designed and project managed the implementation of Bio fuels and increased productivity of all fuel grades to Service stations across the State. • Developing technical knowledge of all employees and provided technical support and expertise to the Project Services team • Developed and maintained effective relationships with contractors, consultants, councils, suppliers and manufacturers

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:• Negotiated new contract agreements and ensured smooth operations including maintenance, inspections, testing and certification of all fuel unit assets• Project managed a Biofuels Project, covering 200 live service station sites across three states with a budget of $3.5M• Ran a Critical Safety Device Inspection / Rectification Project covering 280 live service station sites across five Australian states with a budget of $800K• Successfully launched an Image Brand Refresh Project across 323 live service station sites across five Australian States with a budget of $5m• Received ‘Above & Beyond Award’ in 2010 for implementing, managing and delivering ExxonMobil’s biofuels project into New South Wales and the ACT.

Served as a Mechanical Engineer on 3 types of highly technically advanced defense vessels and a number of maintenance workshop support units.• Managed an engineering workshop of 30 staff, providing support to large Navy maintenance facilities on range of state-of-the-art Defense platforms• Lead a team of trade professionals, training staff at all levels to develop their professional expertise and conducting regular performance appraisals and competency assessments• Developed and implemented safety programs for a team of 300 trade staff consisting of engineers, mechanics, electricians, boilermakers, metal smiths & operators• Managed all safety aspects of the workshop and associated areas. • Implemented several safety campaigns.• Delivered training to groups up to 100 people• Managed maintenance planning and scheduling.
