My role consisted of managing around 600 staff, with around 20% of the staff having a run or operational focus and the remaining staff a development or build focused. My role covers Corporate, Payments, HFT (high frequency trading), Risk Services, Algorithmic Trading (and market making), Prime Services, Trading Services, Product Control and Middle Office. I would describe myself as a hands on software engineer, highly technical (having come from an electronic trading background) with a wide investment banking domain knowledge. My specialisations are managing to achieve a stable, highly scalable environment running from a marginal cost base.

Managed and wrote a market leading mufti-asset class algorithmic trading platform. Specialising in multi-legged pairs trading, transition trading (or rebalances), market making, index arbitrage and dual listed arbitrage.

Managed and wrote BARX Algorithmic Trading Platform. Presented with CIO award for innovation, for using low latency multi legged Pairs Trading algorithm to market make US Treasury notes against Futures contracts. Specialised in inline algorithms, placement strategies and trading spreads and rolls.

Worked within the Equity Finance Group (EFG) front office team developing various Front Office Trading Platforms.

Worked as a senior developer on a Fund Management Reporting Portal.

Worked on geostructural, finite difference software and models for advanced earth work solutions.

Working as a graduate site engineer on the A13 bypass in London.
