Vice President, Regulatory Applications
CurrentResponsible for managing all regulatory application matters involving the Alberta Utilities Commission (“AUC”) including applications for ENMAX approval, monitoring or intervening in applications by others that impact ENMAX’s interests, and the development of AUC Rules. Working closely with the Company’s senior leadership team, lead the regulatory function for the organization. Provide support for ENMAX’s business strategy, primarily related to ENMAX Power Corp. (“EPC”; Wires Utility) and ENMAX Energy Corp. (“EEC”; Competitive Energy Business) regulatory matters. Provide leadership to the members of the Regulatory Applications team and work with external consultants and internal and external legal advisors, while providing the best possible results for the Company. Provide support to Government Relations, Regulatory Policy Group and business units in developing ENMAX regulatory policy and advocacy positions to Government, Market Surveillance Administrator and the AESO. Ensuring appropriate processes, systems and controls are consistently executed to satisfy regulatory requirements and education on these processes is constantly delivered to Executive, EPC and EEC personnel.
