Repair, troubleshoot, and service many types of heavy equipment, particularly road repair and maintenance equipment. Some of the equipment that I work on are pavers, scrapers, loaders, graders, heavy trucks, pickup trucks, and excavators. I am required to go on the road for service calls, as well as work in the shop.

Ft. Bragg

Repair and maintain MRAP's MV850's and GMV's. Perform services, component replacements, test drive. Troubleshoot, repair electrical and mechanical problems. Repair vehicles, inspect for faults and regular vehicle maintenance. Work on vehicle pneumatic systems, repair brakes, and vehicle cooling systems.

Afghanistan

Repair C-IED Entry Control Point Equipment/ Mine rollers troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic faults, test batteries replace parts. Order parts, Test and inspect equipment. Travel to different sites in country for repairs or install and set up of Entry Control Point equipment

Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan

Attended MRAP U, went through rollover training at NDC, Camp Atterbury, Ill. Repair and maintains MATVs and other MRAP vehicles. Embedded with U.S.M.C., work on Cougar vehicles, perform vehicle services, component replacements. Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems. Repair battle damaged vehicles, inspect for faults and regular vehicle maintenance. Work on vehicle pneumatic systems, repair brakes, and vehicle cooling systems. Collects Data; Maintenance information from selected Battalion. Collects miles and hours on selected vehicle models. Builds reports monthly with collected data, such as 5988E, DA2404 and service schedules. Reports are to help to get more accurate information for updated MAC charts, and for combat readiness.

Greensboro, North Carolina

Performed air conditioner services, factory recalls, DOT inspections, basic services for all incoming and outgoing diesel medium and heavy trucks. Repaired brakes, troubleshoot electrical problems, service hubs, adjust clutches, and repair drivelines.
