With a great range of products to work with and a highly responsive team surrounding me, I'm delighted to find myself as Marketing Manager for MCS - developers of next generation fuel and fluid management solutions. Within a relatively small company my role as Marketing Manager is varied.As well as helping to manage administrative staff I undertake the tasks of maintaining our social media platforms and generating new content for advertising.The design of miscellaneous promotional materials such as product brochures, specification sheets, exhibition graphics etc is again part of my job and this also extends out to maintaining our company website and undertaking the occasional bit of design for our resellers. My role has also included:Identifying potential resellers in different areas of the globe.Researching and building relationships with new clients.Planning approaches and pitches.Participating in pricing our solutions and services.Presenting new products and services and enhancing existing relationships.Working with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and providing feedback and information on market and creative trends.Identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.Using my knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying and developing the company’s unique selling propositions..
