It Project Manager
Current• Manages Projects which deliver information technology products and services to business needs.• Oversees, facilitates, and leads the gathering of customer requirements and applies these to architecture design, development, testing, deployment and productions support of information technology systems and services that meet stakeholder requirements.• Supports leadership in determining scope, cost, schedule, procurement, risk, and stakeholder management.• Develops and interprets policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the agency.• Provides expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on significant IT issues that influence important agency IT policies or programs.• Responsible for execution aspects of the project management life cycle (Agile and/or Waterfall) to include initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closeout.• Supports and/or oversees cross-organizational boards, committees, working groups, teams or other integrated groups addressing IT programs and projects.• Communicates with senior executives, program leadership and key stakeholders within the agency and throughout the federal government and industry.• Ensures compliance with organizational plans, policies, standards, infrastructure, and architecture.• Manages the System Development Lifecycle budgets for the information systems.
