Event Security Manager - Senior Program Manager International Initially employed as an event security manager, I was quickly promoted to Senior Program Manager, working within the Event Risk Management Team, with operational and strategic responsibility for EMEA and APAC, acting as primary point of contact for all event security related matters. I served as the global security lead and project manager for the integration and transition planning of Nokia Events in Finland during the Microsoft takeover. I ensured the seamless and effective transition, leading staff development to imbed Microsoft methodologies whilst remaining sensitive to the significant cultural change facing staff, including the potential for redundancies. At a tactical level, I held responsibility for all operational events across the region. I delivered in depth and regularly reviewed, intelligence led risk assessments, ensuring the appropriate guidance was continually available. I managed operations and events in high risk countries and environments, liaising effectively with local agencies, police, military and government to secure personnel safety.I developed and maintained effective collaborative and partnership working, ensuring resilient communication and understanding of strategies. With significant budget responsibility, I delivered the timely submission of financial planning, meeting full compliance with delivery expectations. In addition, I managed a range of safety, welfare, critical and major incident issues including, terrorist threat, public disorder, crime and industrial disputes.

I provided risk and security consultancy to corporate and private clients, this included close protection, driving, residential security and surveillance and undertook maritime consultancy and corporate insurance fraud investigations. I consistently delivered exceptional service to clients.

Like all police officers at this time, I began my service as a constable. I worked my way through a range of roles affording me a strong foundation of enquiry, observation and personal interaction. I undertook a variety of operational roles, including the Tactical Firearms Group, providing immediate response to critical incidents and the management of operational activities. I brought a thoughtful and considered approach, processing information quickly and accurately. I worked within a neighbourhood setting in a busy and diverse area managing local priorities. The need for the most personable approach with diplomacy and a real interest in local issues that effected residents was essential. I continually demonstrated exceptional conflict management skills and the ability to connect meaningfully with people even in the most challenging of circumstances. During this time, I served as the project lead for the introduction of a new neighbourhood policing model across a large geographical area. I undertook extensive consultation, working effectively with key strategic partners across the community to deliver this project on time and within budget. I went on to oversee six neighbourhood teams across the area, managing rural and urban community policing requirements, securing a reduction of 22% on overall crime trends and anti-social behaviour.

Managing teams of up to 100 officers, I oversaw investigations and the management of resources often under considerable time restriction and budget pressure. I drove intelligence enquiries with responsibility for planning, supervising, managing and reviewing numerous diverse and high profile investigations from fraud, to robberies and serious violence. I led on the most serious and complex cases including attempted murder and serious risk to life investigations; this included driving covert intelligence gathering and the management of highly sensitive and confidential information. I devised and implemented innovative working practices operational responses, achieving significant results in performance to increase in crime detections. I drove the implementation of national initiatives, including project management of the National Ballistics Intelligence Service across TVP, positively influencing business change proposals. I served as a public order and CBRN commander; planning and delivering tactical plans to support national priorities and public order events.

I served globally, providing logistical support to military personnel on operational deployments.
