Working in the Non-Capital Habeas Unit with the Federal Defender

Coordinate resources for clients of the Los Angeles County Public Defender to ensure all have access to housing, healthcare, work, and governmental assistance. Partnering with people impacted with the criminal justice system to minimize its negative impact on their lives.

Conduct archival research alongside Yale Law School, Medical School, and College students and professors surrounding the historical impacts of pandemics on incarcerated people. Produce original research to contribute to a broader study that combines medical and historical understandings of human caging and disease.

Serve as a student leader and educator on issues concerning campus sexual climate. Trained in providing support to and navigating resources with those impacted by sexual violence and misconduct. Conduct workshops and trainings for all Yale College students in sexual communication, crisis management and promoting positive community values.

Promote the Office of Career Strategy's Common Good and Creative Careers program as a student liaison. Plan events and programming as well as conduct outreach in-person and online with the student body to connect OCS with interested students.

Coordinate partnerships with nonprofit organizations with Inner City Law Center's Homeful.LA Initiative, an online platform that connects volunteers interested in combatting homelessness and organizations that give them opportunities to do so. Serve as a representative for Homeful.LA at community events and town halls on homelessness in and around Los Angeles County.
