I spearheaded a variety of complex technical engagements for Cisco (acquired NDS in 2012) for blue-chip clients. I produced video delivery programmes encompassing all aspects from technology to marketing with input into the value chain from content negotiation through to end user cost analysis. I developed DevOps Strategy and orchestrated change and transformation initiatives. Some of my achievements included the following: ★ Provided management oversight for both the Vodafone team (120 FTE’s) and the Cisco team (350 FTE’s) with a remit to transform the operation to Agile and DevOps environment to streamline output and optimise performance. ★ Chaired weekly “all hands” for a German customer to provide progress updates.★ Led the transition from a legacy solution to a DevOps drive.★ Delivered cloud-based multi-device, multi-platform system to deliver an exceptional customer experience. ★ Implemented a “Bring Your Own Device” model to reduce CAPEX requirements while balancing CAPAX and OPEX needs by ensuring that cloud solutions were operated at maximum efficiency in terms of reporting and KPI dashboards.★ Minimised OPEX costs by partnering with content provider teams to optimise Video on Demand (VOD) for import into multiple systems.★ Successfully reduced install costs by 80%+ following the rollout of self-install protocols for Vodafone devices.

NDS is now a Cisco companyI provided support and guidance for technology leaders in Philadelphia to roll out Cisco products for the largest US cable operator utilising exceptional knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
