Additional responsibilities include management of our corporate supplier sustainability/diversity program.Managed a cash preservation initiative resulting in the closure of over $200M in global, non- production requisitions, purchase orders, and PCards that included daily reporting for a period of 2 months.Enabled reporting on the strategic buying of PPE items on a global basis in less than 2 months. Managed the issuance of letters and coordinated responses with Legal in October 2021 to over 760 suppliers regarding the US and Canadian Government Notices Of Federal Contracting Vaccination Requirements.Supported the broader GP team with effective processes as they negotiated contracts and renewals across a broad base of suppliers, driving more than $90M in productivity (cash, rebates, and cost avoidance) over the past two years. Reported these efficiencies with monthly updates through the corporate tool. Successfully deployed SAP Ariba modules for Sourcing, Contracting, and Buying/Ordering each in an unprecedented number of months (~6-7 months) from kick-off to implementation. Sourcing and Contracting was a global implementation that included the systematic migration of thousands of contract documents. Over 6,000 Indirect purchase orders were processed through Buying/Ordering in 2021 covering $800M in spend for 7 countries. Developed training documentation, hosted multiple training sessions and hundreds of individual support meetings.

Team leader responsible for improving the output and productivity of many of Xerox’s procurement processes by (re)designing them using project management skills, six sigma techniques, and coaching with successful global, company-wide deployments.My team transformed our Contract Lifecycle Management strategy to consolidate all contracts to a single repository and improve our reporting/governance abilities by redefining the user process. We implemented the new process for the entire global organization, including the administration of over 7000 records within a cloud-based application. The contract governance process ensures the accuracy, quality, and integrity of our contract reporting to support both organizational and corporate requirements.Provided oversight to ensure consistent and accurate responses for my team leading the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply platinum recertification process (awarded December 2018) to ensure Xerox procurement continuously performs at world class levels. Lead the team in successfully implementing several new processes supporting corporate/government/regulatory requirements including EU GDPR, managing confidential information, company merger contract disposition, and financial cash commitment reporting. Provide analytical reporting of the corporation’s supplier spend for direct use by corporate executive committee members during the company’s transformation initiatives. Drove margin improvement and added value by optimizing the Marketing and Print & Paper supplier bases utilizing supplier contracting techniques, negotiation tactics, and data analytics to maximize financial benefit to Xerox and improve supplier performance. I utilized Xerox Global Procurement standards and processes to minimize risk. As the interface between my internal value chain partners and the external suppliers, I delivered over $600k in productivity from a Paper RFP and a Print sourcing event.Supported the company separation activities by developing the strategy for the disposition of over 1200 supplier contracts. Lead integrator of all critical competency center deliverables for Xerox’s innovative, digital color production press platform using Systems Engineering and program management skills that maintained all product delivery milestones. Lead our team in defining these deliverables by understanding the product goals and solutions. Managed our team problem management committee meeting attended by strong engineering personalities that focused on very complex technical issues in order to drive solutions for all other competency center problems. Maintained our team's schedule for our test machines and prioritized test plans to meet our deliverables. Lead interface into the program with our major partners that supply critical parts and materials. Provided technical support and coordination of all manufacturing issues related to my team.

Managed a junior engineer on activities that support program deliverables, a group of machine technicians, an image quality data coordinator, as well as contract personnel that assist our image quality and laboratory needs.

Managed a group of senior systems engineers responsible for the delivery of many functionally important topics for various production presses following documented Systems Engineering processes, including critical parameter management and design reviews ensuring their quality and timely delivery met the program goals. These topics included big picture integration, image-on-paper registration, system productivity, environmental health & safety, system timing, system media performance, and electrical systems controls.

Managed our team’s resource content balancing and requirements planning, facilitated program problem management committee meetings, and was the lead systems engineer for some of the programs. Primary author of System Performance Specifications for multiple production presses coordinating input from my team and other program team members. As a certified DfLSS black belt, provided coaching to my team and others, including technical program managers on various systems engineering subjects.

Integration lead on a strategic activity to deliver the next generation imager into a new product. This large scale effort required the coordination of activities and deliverables from 30 different engineers representing many different competency centers that successfully launched the product.

Lead engineer of a cross-functional team that delivered a new subsystem for a production printer by using regression modeling with Expected Value Analysis, Input/Process/Output development, FMEA, prototype hardware testing, and software requirements development defining the final location and software requirements considering all customer and service interactions. After initial concept selection, directed our team through a series of design activities focused on hardening the concept and understanding the system impacts.All image uniformity related issues, including customer escalations and metric development, became my responsibility after the disbanding of my former team. Process integration activities also included scorecard development and system level testing and analysis.

Integration Lead:Assigned as the integration lead for a technical task force with responsibilities to provide program perspective and direction/focus for the team. The main focus was to develop a root cause understanding of a prioritized problems set and drive solution delivery to the program.Systems Engineer:Focused on understanding xerographic system sensitivity to develop a fundamental understanding of how the halftone dots of a production printer are transformed from a raster input to a developed spot on the photoreceptor. The intent was to improve the image uniformity by reducing the system sensitivity to latent image dot variation.

Project engineer that improved the image quality of a production printer by using design concepts, FEA and kinematic analysis, lab fixture testing, and the development of software requirements to deliver the design of a new xerographic subsystem. Assigned as a process engineer for this and additional subsystems, successfully delivering them by resolving over 35 technical problems in time for the product launch.Utilizing newly acquired process integration skills, completed first-order subsystem technology verification testing on a prototype system for a new highlight color printer program in 6 months allowing the program to maintain it's delivery plan, and achieving equal performance metrics to legacy products.Assigned to a new subsystem task force, performed image quality analysis on replicate parts across 10 test systems. Expanded these analysis techniques to two additional task force tests that included the development of a Taguchi L8 DOE and the evaluation of a new design concept allowing the design team to successfully deliver longer-life parts to the product.

Created a hardcopy set of data sheets for each shop and generated a computerized index of all materials used.Manufacturing:Engineer in charge of two subassemblies on the manufacturing line of a highlight color printer. Duties included build process development and implementation, tool authorizations, inspections, purges, and general troubleshooting.Product Design:Provided support to a mechanical design team by developing and implementing timing models for speed enhancements to production printer finishing equipment.Manufacturing Technology:Researched new manufacturing techniques for the production of full width array print heads from silicon wafers, including vendor dialogue to determine if their tooling can support design tolerances.
