A few years spent auditing government projects, before moving to technical servicing at Universal Pictures in film industry, then Capitol Films to take the role of head of servicing, supervising international distribution. Following on from there I became managing director at the servicing subsidiary of Odyssey Filmed Entertainment in 2008, I set up Santx in 2009 following requests from sales agents for an independent servicing agent. Santx’s activities allowed me to diversify seed invest in several production companies including The Tea Shop & Film Company along with an edit facility Postbox Ltd. Tea Shop which I became the financial director for in 2014 made ten films including Cockneys vs Zombies and 47 Meters Down (the most successful independent film at the US box office for 2017) I have had a variety of roles on individual titles ranging from senior production accountant, associate producer or executive producer.In addition to running Postbox (www.postbox-london.com) a small edit facility in East London, I’m developing projects to be produced directly under Santx’s banner and another production company Base & Apex utilising experience of working in distribution, post production, on set and preproduction on over 200 films as well as tinkering with 3D printing and other technology projects to see if any other opportunities can be developed. I intermitently write as a hobby.During the Coronavirus I joined up with a network of other 3d printing enthusiasts to create 3dcrowd.org.uk to supply PPE to frontline and support workers. This was a network of 8000 people and involved logistics, manufacturing, fundraising and all the other functions of a company of that size with the exception that it was set up and sufficiently functional in two weeks that 100's of thousands of supplies made it out to frontline staff. We worked with DPD, James Walker, Amazon, Nissan and many universities and other entities to make this a success. After a multi year successful fight against HMRC to recognise 3D Crowds status hoping to attract further funding to enervate 3D Crowd once again and achieve some of the goals it originally had for the benefit of the community.In addition to my film work I am now working in the defence sector on a new venture to play a small part in our long term safety.
