I have worked in the field of finance since graduating California State University, Sacramento in 1995. Starting out, I joined the management program at Beneficial Finance and managed offices in Reno and Las Vegas. Responsibilities included managing the loan origination process as well as collections. In 1999 I moved more specifically into the mortgage field and managed the Reno office of Advanta Bank until the bank closed its doors. Wholesale and secondary markets were the next step, and MLSG and Argent mortgage opened the doors to the booming mortgage industry. Specializing in the difficult to fund, I managed to gain and hold significant market share in the Las Vegas market. When the mortgage business started to take a turn in 2006, I went back to my roots and found new opportunity in the debt recovery industry. My collection management experience was useful in the transition to Global Acceptance Credit Company, where I was in charge of debt sales and involved in debt purchasing. In 2007, Creditmax took debt sales to another level however, opening up an online marketplace for the purchase and sale of debt receivables, and I joined their team to help make that vision a reality. As Creditmax shifted their focus from sales to financing of debt purchases in 2010, I left and formed BDO Financial LLC in 2011, and its dba BuyingDebt.Org to serve the needs of the debt buying community. Since 2011, BDO has consistently done millions in sales every year and continues to serve loyal and trusted clients in the purchase and sale of distressed receivables. In January 2018, BDO Financial LLC opened its newest venture, Fundiage, to aid in the financing and funding of small business within and outside the debt industry. Fundiage provides term loans, credit lines and merchant cash advance to business owners with credit from A+ to C-.
