This involves being responsible for organising meetings with representatives from the company, being punctual and professional throughout the projects and reporting back the progress of our groups work through the use of a team website. My individual project that I am also working on is titled ‘Reducing the Entry and Exit Time of Snowboard Bindings’. This project involves all aspects of my course such as producing an initial brief which outlines research, the problems and a method to find the solution, developing an in depth product design specification, generating concepts, collecting structural data for use in product testing, prototyping, CAD modelling, structural analysis and creating a folio/report. Other aspects are that of manufacturing considerations such as processes, material selection and dimensions. The importance of being driven, punctual and managing my time well is vital to manage all of my projects and classes.
